Our vote is our power. Through our votes, elections make our voices heard. The League protects and empowers millions of voters every year to ensure that our elections are fair, accessible, and representative of all Americans. To vote you need to be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Arizona, and be at least 18 years of age by the election date. If convicted of a felony, you must have your civil rights restored.

When applying for an Arizona drivers license or Arizona nonoperating license ID, you can register to vote at the same time, even if you are as young as 16.
Paper Application
Complete an Arizona Voter Registration Form and mail to Yavapai County Recorder, Voter Registration Department, 1015 Fair St. Room 228, Prescott, AZ 86305. Be sure to fill out boxes 1, 9 (if you have an AZ drivers license), 14, 15, and all pink boxes.

You can use VOTE411.org or go directly to the Service Arizona Website, https://servicearizona.com/. Click on the Voter Registration box. In order to use Service Arizona, you must have an Arizona drivers license or Arizona identification card.
Note: You must prove US citizenship in order to vote on state and local races in Arizona. When registering to vote in Arizona, you can provide a birth certificate, US passport, US naturalization documents, Bureau of Indian Affairs card number, tribal treaty card number, tribal enrollment number, or photo drivers license from Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Vermont, or Washington.
Voting is required in a functioning democracy such as ours. It is the most important right that we have as Americans because it gives us the right to decide who governs us, who decides on the use of our tax dollars, and the laws of our society.
